i-Tech 7 Taps Hird as APAC Director

Subsea 7’s life of field business unit i-Tech 7 has appointed Simon Hird as its new regional director to help strengthen and grow its life of field business in the Asia-Pacific region. He will be based in the company’s Perth office.

Hird brings to the position more than 40 years’ experience in the subsea oil and gas industry and has worked for several major contractors in the construction and life of field sectors. He joins i-Tech 7 from UTEC Survey where he was business unit director responsible for managing activity in the Asia-Pacific region.

Hird spent the majority of his career in the North Sea before moving to Perth in 2008.
