Equinor's Statfjord A platform in the North Sea is in operation again following a brief outage on Tuesday, the operator said on Wednesday.

A condensate leak led to a shutdown of production at the platform at around 1530 GMT. The situation was "normalized" at around 1730 GMT and production has resumed, according to an Equinor spokesman.

The cause of the leak will be looked into, he added.

Trade publication Sysla Offshore first reported the news.
