Chariot completes Namibian 2D survey

Chariot Oil & Gas Ltd has completed a 2128km 2D seismic survey in southern block 2714B offshore Namibia, the company announced.

The survey was carried out by Dolphin Geophysical Ltd using the seismic vessel Artemis Atlantic to provide further detail on the shallower petroleum system in the region. Once the data has been processed and calibrated with the legacy 2D data on the block, it will be interpreted in-house with the aim of identifying specific areas interest for a 3D program.

Chariot operates southern block 2714B with 85% interest. Its partners include the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) (10%) and  Quiver Oil and Gas (PTY) Ltd (5%).
