Enventure sets liner record in Middle East

Houston-based Enventure set a record for the longest  5.5in. SET solid expandable CHL liner. The liner was installed with zero recordable safety incidents for an operator in the Middle East.

The installation was performed in a power-water injector well to repair a corroded 7in. liner.  To keep the reduction in the well’s internal diameter (ID) to a minimum, the operator cleaned out the corroded liner and ran a 5.5in. SET liner. The successful installation provided an internal diameter of 5.5in., which allows higher injection rates with less friction loss than any conventional scab liner.
