FMC Technologies Inc. signed a 10-year global frame agreement with BG Group to supply subsea equipment and services for BG developments worldwide.
FMC mentioned the award from BG Group during its earnings call on 22 October 2014.
This new frame agreement expands on the existing frame agreement that FMC Technologies signed in April 2010 with BG Group's Norwegian subsidiary, BG Norge. That five-year contract included provisions for two additional five-year extensions. The 2010 agreement included an immediate call-off to perform a detailed engineering study related to equipment and services to support the Jordbaer field, located in the Norwegian North Sea.
