Siem Offshore swaps CEO

Norwegian-based Siem Offshore has appointed Idar Hillersøy its new CEO, effective 1 August, replacing current CEO Terje Sørensen, who will stay until a transitional phase is completed.

Since April, Idar Hillersøy has been responsible for Siem's OSV segment and will now take over responsibility for Siem Offshore industrial investments.

Additionally, Svein Erik Mykland will step down as COO and take over responsibility for the follow up and development of Siem Offshore Contractors. The company is expected to find a new COO.
