SPT Offshore gets LOI for Ophir wellhead platform

SPT Offshore has received the letter of intent (LOI) for the detailed design of the suction pile foundation, design supervision of the jacket and full transportation and installation of the Ophir wellhead platform from Muhibbah Engineering.

The jacket with integrated suction pile foundation will be installed in one piece offshore.

Muhibbah is the EPCIC contractor for this project, which is based on SPT Offshore’s solution consisting of a tri-legged jacket with an integrated suction pile foundation.

Ophir Production is a joint venture company between Octanex (50%), Scomi D&P (30%) and Vestigo Petroleum (20%).
