Aqualis lands Race Bank gig

Offshore marine and engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore has been contracted by A2SEA to perform engineering consultancy services for its offshore wind farm installation work at the Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm offshore the UK.

Aqualis Offshore’s London-office will provide engineering services including geotechnical and structural site assessments where A2SEA’s SEA INSTALLER jackup vessel will install the 91 Siemens 6MW wind turbines at the offshore wind farm. 

DONG Energy is the operator of the Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm, which is located approximately 16.8mi off Blakeney Point on the North Norfolk coast and 17.4mi off the Lincolnshire coast at Chapel St Leonards. The offshore array covers an area of approximately 29sq mi.

A2SEA, owned by DONG Energy and Siemens Wind Power, will provide offshore wind transport, installation and service solutions.
