AusGroup subsidiary MAS Australasia entered into an agreement with Technip Oceania to supply of scaffolding and rope access services on the Shell-operated Prelude floating Liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project.

The firm will be responsible for the delivery of scaffolding and rope access activities required for the hook-up and commissioning scope of work, supporting pre-investment activities in Perth, Korea, and offshore.

AusGroup said this contract further strengthens its oil and gas footprint and leads to the creation of new Australian jobs, including skilled scaffolding fixers and trade rope access technicians supported by supervision, safety, administration and management roles.
