LQT Industries, a service provider and construction company, has been awarded five insulation projects in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) from major oil and gas companies.

These projects consist of the execution of projects on offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and the insulation of multiple production modules for a large topside project in Louisiana. LQT’s insulation technicians will be using a variety of insulation materials and methods designed for personnel protection, corrosion prevention, and heat conservation of mechanical vessels and components vital to production operations.

In addition, LQT has also been awarded four refurbishment and maintenance projects. All projects are scheduled to be completed by the end of Q1 2017.

LQT expanded the refurbishment and maintenance group in 2016 by adding an experienced insulation team. LQT’s insulation team specializes in the consultation, procurement, and installation of various types of insulation for the industrial and energy sector, both onshore and offshore environments.
