Halliburton’s Boots & Coots has acquired Old School Services to enhance its pressure control offerings and provide operators with the throughtubing equipment resources required by today’s rapidly growing unconventionals, horizontal drilling and multistage completions markets. Boots & Coots VP Dee Edwards said OSS’ specialty tools for fishing, milling, cleanout, and tubingconveyed perforating services would complement B&C’s well intervention services to create ‘one of the safest, most experienced and most reliable pressure control offerings in the industry’.
