In-well wireless communications has advanced significantly over the last few years, especially for monitoring subsea E&A wells for communication with other wells, once the rig has left a well and adjacent wells are being tested. This information is particularly useful in undewrstanding reservoir connectivity and compartmentalization during any hydrocarbon prospect and field development evaluation.
