BP, Nalco Champion begin 10-year global framework agreement

Nalco Sherwood Park facility CanadaNalco Champion and BP plc representatives recently participated in a contract signing event to officially commemorate a new chemical managed services global framework agreement (GFA) between the two companies. The 10-year GFA was awarded to Nalco Champion at the beginning of Q2 2014, and includes the delivery of upstream and downstream specialty chemicals and related services.

“We’re excited to embark on this expanded relationship with BP, said Steve Taylor, EVP and President, Nalco Champion. “Winning this GFA is the result of a lengthy negotiation that validates Nalco Champion as a best-in-class chemical management provider.”

Nalco Champion currently supports BP’s upstream chemical business in the US, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Caspian and the Gulf of Mexico. Nalco Champion’s downstream team delivers value to BP refining and petrochemical assets in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
