Shelf Drilling, the international shallow water offshore drilling contractor, announced that it has secured contract extensions for four of its jack-up drilling rigs.

The drilling contractor  with rig operations across Middle East, Southeast Asia, India, West Africa and the Mediterranean said in a statement that it had been awarded a four-month extension for each of the High Island II, High Island IV, Main Pass I, and Main Pass IV jack-ups in continuation of their existing contracts.

However, the rig owner has not revealed any further details about the contract extensions.

According to Shelf Drilling’s latest fleet status report, issued in August 2019, all four rigs are under contracts with Saudi Aramco in the UAE.

Shelf Drilling was founded in 2012 and has established itself as a leader within its industry through its fit-for-purpose strategy and close working relationship with industry leading clients.
