Norwegian offshore supply vessel (OSV) operator DOF has been awarded a contract extension for an anchor handling vessel.

Norskan, a Brazilian subsidiary of DOF, and Petrobras have signed a 1-year extension for the anchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel Skandi Fluminense.

The vessel, built in 2007, is an AHTS 18.000 with 1 WROV operated by DOF Subsea on board, said a press note.

The original one-year contract for the AHTS Skandi Fluminense was awarded by Petrobras back in May 2018 and it started in July that year. Now it is extended until September 2020.

DOF also this year announced two more projects in Brasil for the vessels Skandi Seven and Skandi Niterói – a JV with TechnipFMC.
