Solstad CSV Wins Contract Extension

Norwegian offshore service and supply ship shipping company Solstad Offshore and Mexican company Subtec S.A have agreed to extend the contract for the construction support vessel (CSV) Far Sentinel with two-and-a-half-years.

The 142-meter CSV, built 2015, will be employed in Mexico until the end of 2022, said a the operator of offshore service and construction vessels for renewable energy at sea and offshore petroleum industry worldwide.

The duration of the contract is now firm until 31.12.2022, plus 2 yearly options thereafter, it added.

The "Far Sentinel" has been on contract to Subtec S.A since 2015. It is is a construction support vessel of a Vard 3 07 design by VARD Langsten.

Solstad Offshore operates in three segments: Anchor-handling vessels, platform supply vessels, and construction service vessels.
