Norwegian supply shipping company DOF has been awarded short-term contracts for two of its platform supply vessels (PSVs).

Premier UK has hired the 4,135-dwt Skandi Caledonia (built 2003) for around four months from this quarter. The PSV will perform supply duties for two firm wells, plus another optional well.

DOF (UK) Limited has been awarded a drilling support contract for the Skandi Barra by an undisclosed client. Commencement is planned for July.

2005-built Skandi Barra is an MT 6000 MK II design PSV. The vessel has mainly been working in the North Sea since it joined DOF’s fleet.

DOF ASA operates 74 offshore vessels. This includes 24 platform supply vessels, 20 anchor handling tug supply vessels and 30 Construction Support vessels (including rescue vessel Skandi Patagonia).
