Sparrows Group reports it has secured North Sea contract renewals worth an estimated £30 million ($38.6 million) in revenue in the first quarter of 2019.

The renewed agreements with two major operators in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) are for the provision of crane management services over periods of one and five years, the company said.

Both contracts will see the company deliver a combination of preventive and corrective maintenance including condition monitoring; inspection, testing and certification; crane operators; rigging equipment management; mechanical handling and engineering support; and a deck operations safety coaching program.

The scope of work covers a total of 73 cranes situated on a number of manned and normally unmanned installations across both the North and Southern North Seas.
