Gazprom, PetroVietnam discuss holdings

Alexey Miller, chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Nguyen Xuan Son, chairman of the PetroVietnam National Oil and Gas Group Board of Director met at Gazprom headquarters 3 September to address the joint development of hydrocarbon resources in Vietnam and Russia.

Gazprom and PetroVietnam partner in the Moc Tinh and Hai Thach fields, located off Vietnam. Commercially launched in October 2013, the gas fields would reach their full capacity in 2016.

Vietgazprom,  Gazprom and PetroVietnam's joint operating company, is engaged in exploration activities in blocks 112, 129, 130, 131, 132 in the Vietnamese Continental Shelf.
