Aasta Hansteen installation timelapse

In this video, Statoil shows a timelapse of installation work at Aasta Hansteen conducted by Subsea 7.

Pipelines, risers and spools were installed and hooked up to subsea templates and umbilicals that were installed last year. 

The pipelines have been pressure-tested and prepared for production, and mooring lines have been carefully installed on the seabed – everything has to be ready before the platform arrives in 2018.  The Aasta Hansteen gas discovery (previously Luva) in the Norwegian Sea is situated at 1300m water depth in the Vøring area, 300km from land.
