The first of two shipments of pile clusters and flotation tanks arrived at Kvaerner’s yard at Verdal earlier this week (4 October), which will be installed on the first and largest steel jacket for the Johan Sverdrup projects, currently under construction at Verdal.

The riser platform for Johan Sverdrup will be the biggest and most complex jacket from Kvaerner so far.

The four pile clusters and two sets of flotation tanks weighing 7000-tonne will be unloaded from transportation vessels to Kvaerner’s quay at Verdal.
