Noble Corp. names new CFO

Noble Corp. has appointed Adam C. Peakes, 43, as the company’s new senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective 23 January 2017. The announcement comes nine months after previous CFO James A. MacLennan resigned in late-February.

In his new role, Peakes will oversee corporate finance, financial reporting, accounting, tax and treasury activities at the company.

Since 2011, Peakes has served as managing director and head of OFS Investment Banking at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co.  From 2000 – 2011, he served in various roles at Goldman Sachs & Co., most recently as managing director, Global Natural Resources – Investment Banking Division. 

Peakes received his undergraduate degree from Rice University in 1995 and an MBA from Harvard University in 2000.
