Sirius Petroleum signed an agreement with Tidewater Marine International for the provision of offshore service vessels (OSV) for a multi-well campaign in Nigeria.
The deal is between Sirius and Tidewater Marine’s support company T1 Marine Services, which will act as contract principals.
The multi-well campaign is in the shallow waters of the Sirius-operated Ororo field.
"We are pleased to welcome T1 Marine Services Ltd as our vessels service provider to the Ororo field alongside COSL, ADD Energy and Schlumberger and look forward to moving into the next stage," says Bobo Kuti, CEO of Sirius.
The Ororo Field lies in the shallow waters offshore Ondo State in water depths ranging between 23-27ft. The field is adjacent to Mina, West Isan, Ewan, Eko and Parabe fields - all of which are operated by Chevron. It has an estimated 35.5-44.1 MMbbl in place, and 277-390 Bcf.
