Remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) and hydrographic survey company Rovco said on Wednesday that it has established a dedicated business development team to support its growth plans as it looks to increase its presence in key international markets.

Brian Allen, CEO of Rovco, said, “The expansion of our business development team is in direct response to increased activity across both the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, and is a key step forward in our ambitious plans to increase our workforce over the next 12 months.

Paolo Cattaneo, Brett Laurenson and Alex Pretty collectively bring more than 40 years of business development experience to the company. While capitalizing on Rovco’s latest 3D reconstruction technology, they will be responsible for strengthening the company’s market presence, geographical reach and effectively executing the firm’s global growth strategy.

They will also help to develop future technology and services required to support clients in the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors, working alongside the offshore and R&D teams.

Pretty will focus on developing new opportunities in the offshore renewables market, Laurenson will boost Rovco’s presence in the global oil and gas industry, and Cattaneo will work across both divisions.
