Norwegian offshore support vessels company Simon Mokster Rederi said that it has sold the 3,000-dwt platform supply vessel (PSV) Stril Neptun to Greek interest for work outside the offshore shipping segment.

Stril Neptun was delivered back in 1999 and has served long contracts as combined standby and supply on the NCS for Exxon (now Vår Energi), Equinor and BP/Aker BP for many years.

The vessel is delivered to the new owners and will head to the Mediterranian early November, said a press note.

"Møkster is grateful to all seafarers, office personnel and other parties having had work related to the vessel for almost 20 years," the release said.
