FMC wins Heidelberg supply

Anadarko Petroleum chose FMC Technologies to provide subsea equipment for the Heidelberg field, FMC announced on 4 June 2013.

The scope of FMC Technologies' contract includes the supply includes five enhanced horizontal subsea trees, tree mounted controls, two manifolds and other associated tooling and equipment.

"FMC Technologies is pleased to provide Anadarko with the subsea equipment needed to develop its Heidelberg field," said Tore Halvorsen, FMC Technologies' Senior Vice President, Subsea Technologies. "Anadarko is a leading operator in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico and we are pleased to support them in their efforts."

Anadarko is also developing the Heidelberg field in Green Canyon Blocks 816, 859, 860 and 903, at a water depth of 5,310ft (1,618m). Technip is tasked witht building and delivering a truss spar hull for the field. The spar will have a capacity of 80,000b/d and 81MMcf/d.
