UK-based marine environmental and planning consultancy MarineSpace Limited has been awarded a place on the UK environmental impact assessment (EIA) framework agreement for Ørsted Wind Power A/S.

The award means MarineSpace will be eligible to provide the Danish developer with offshore EIA and consultancy services over the next three years.

Phil Durrant, Managing Director of MarineSpace Ltd commented “This is a significant step forward for the company and is the result of two years of concerted effort and development by the whole MarineSpace team to reach a position where we can support a major developer such as Ørsted in the successful delivery of their ongoing and future offshore wind farm developments."

Durrant added: "We look forward to working with the Ørsted team and will be using this opportunity to further broaden our capabilities and the services we offer across all marine sectors.”

MarineSpace Limited will be supported in the delivery of work awarded through the framework by their named subcontractor Intertek Limited.
