Global Energy Group said its North Fabrication division has completed and handed over the Schiehallion Central Production Manifold M1P to BP.

The 130Te manifold was delivered safely and to the required project quality requirements, the manufacturer said.

OSS awarded Global Energy's North Fabrication division the contract in September 2018, first steel was cut in October 2018 and completed manifold handed over in May 2019.

The manifold will facilitate additional tie-in points for new wells into the Quad 204 (Schiehallion redevelopment) project, a BP spokesperson told OEDigital. The work is progressing on an extended drilling program that has always been part of the project, he said.
