The new Offshore Technical Committee of ABS held its first meeting in Houston last month, with CTO Todd Grove enthusing afterwards that the class society had ‘made an excellent decision’ in separating the marine and offshore groups to concentrate more fully on their specific areas of interest in the development and modification of rules and guides. ‘The value of the feedback on our rules clearly demonstrates the focused expertise of our members,’ added Grove.
