Palantir Solutions has been selected by Shell to deliver a business planning solution for Shell’s global operations.

The new enterprise planning software will connect data, functions and processes to provide secure data collection, economic/financial modelling, portfolio analysis, and dynamic, visual reporting. Palantir’s tools enable planners to rapidly produce insightful, accurate business strategies that optimize the future value of their resources.

Palantir’s business planning solution revolutionizes the way that companies collect, process, and analyze their investment portfolio.  Outdated “linear” workflows are replaced by data-driven workflows that are collaborative, systematic and secure. Palantir’s integrated planning workflow will significantly reduce the cycle time of planning iterations; this enables companies to make better decisions in changing and uncertain market conditions.

Jason Ambrose, Managing Director of Palantir Solutions, said: “Palantir Solutions is excited to have been selected to provide an innovative planning platform for the Shell user community. Our Integrated, Dynamic Planning System will connect technologies, functions and processes across the enterprise to enable faster decision making.”
