Colin Smith joins Wood Group Intetech to lead the expansion of its operations across the Americas.

Based in Houston, Texas, Smith’s role will focus on developing WG Intetech’s business throughout the region, supporting its well integrity management solutions. This will include raising the profile of WG Intetech’s established Electronic Corrosion Engineer (ECE) and Well Integrity Toolkit (iWit) software, as well as introducing new solutions to the US market.

Smith brings nearly two decades of industry experience, the majority of which he spent with oilfield services giant Schlumberger. He has an exceptional understanding of the local US market and will lead the expansion of WG Intetech’s presence in the US and beyond.

Smith is WG Intetech’s second senior hire this quarter, following the appointment of Sami Halfawi to head up the company’s Middle East outfit.
