Aqualis ASA and  Tristein AS have merged into Aqualis Offshore AS.

Aqualis ASA acquired Norwegian company Tristein AS in April 2014. Tristein has since operated as a stand-alone entity as part of the Aqualis Group. Now the company is being merged into the group’s main Norwegian operational unit, Aqualis Offshore AS.

Aqualis Offshore is a specialized marine and offshore engineering consultancy focusing on the shallow and deepwater offshore segments of the oil, gas and wind industry. Tristein is a leading provider of marine operations for the offshore oil, gas and wind industries.

In Norway, Aqualis Offshore will continue to operate from the company’s three offices in Asker, Kristiansund and Sandefjord.

“We merge into one operational entity, Aqualis Offshore, to streamline internal processes, reduce administrative work and give the company a more easily understandable operational profile. Our objective is to continue to grow and provide even better services to our clients,” says Bjørn Håvard Brænden, Aqualis Offshore director of Norwegian operations.
