In this video, Magma Global shows an animation of the m-pipe intervention line.

The Magma m-pipe has applications in IWOCS, downline and chemical injection systems, offering the benefit of lightweight, robust construction and deployment from an integrated and compact back-deck reeler package.

Subsea light well intervention (LWI) from small construction vessels is increasingly used to achieve increased commercial production from subsea wells, avoiding the need to mobilize costly MODU. m-pipe is an ideal product to facilitate subsea intervention in a safe and reliable manner, Magma said.

Magma has developed a complete subsea intervention system, comprising m-pipe, the pipe handling system and riser configuration in conjunction with MDL. Magma is also able to supply a complete lightweight subsea modular system that can be mobilized quickly and efficiently onto deployment vessels using a lightweight crane.
