DeepOcean to SURF BP's Foinaven

DeepOcean received a call-off under its new master service agreement (MSA) with BP Exploration Operating Co. that covers the installation of a new flexible water injection riser, and the recovery of the existing water injection riser in the deepwater Foinaven field, West of Shetland.

Foinaven is some 190km west of the Shetland Islands at 460m water depth.

The work includes project management, engineering and logistics. The offshore work is scheduled to be executed in Q3 2017 with the Edda Freya construction vessel.

The onshore project team will work out of DeepOcean’s offices in Aberdeen and Haugesund, Norway.
