OPC wins Statoil frame agreement

A framework agreement to supply drilling, wells and petroleum technology resources has been awarded to OPC by Statoil ASA.

Starting in January 2014, the five year contract runs until 2018, and has options to extend until 2023.

The agreement covers the provision of consultants for the specialist disciplines of drilling and wells engineering and facilities, offshore drilling and QHSE supervision, geology, geophysics, reservoir and production technology, data management and petrophysics.  

The geographical scope covers mainly Statoil’s Norwegian operations and may be used for international locations.  

Established in 1988, OPC is a specialist petro-technical consultancy providing integrated geoscience, subsurface engineering and production technology expertise to the global E&P sector.

OPC has offices in London, Aberdeen, Stavanger, Atyrau, Astana, Aktau, Doha, Basra and Houston with OPC staff, consultants and software technology working either in-house or externally at clients’ offices, rig sites and installations around the world.
