OneSubsea is to provide pump systems for the Total Moho Phase 1bis development in the deep water Moho-Bilondo license offshore Congo.
The contract includes a multiphase pump station with two 3.5megawatt high-boost pumps, a power and control module, a power and control umbilical, and PhaseWatcher subsea multiphase flow meters with Vx technology for pump control.
Manufacturing and testing will take place at OneSubsea’s Horsøy facility in Norway. The field is in 1969 ft (600 m) to 2625 ft (800 m) water depth.
For Phase 1bis, 11 subsea wells will be tied back to a floating production unit (FPU), already in place on Moho-Bilondo, whose processing capacity will be increased by 40,000 boe/d.
The Moho-Bilondo license also contains the Moho Nord development.
This will see 17 subsea wells drilled and tied back to a new FPU, and 17 additional wells developed from a new Tension Leg Platform (TLP).
Effluents from Moho Nord will be processed on the new FPU, which will have capacity of 100,000 boe/d, and transported via subsea pipeline to the Djeno onshore terminal.
“This is our fourth contract to provide booster pump systems for Total E&P,” said Atle Ingebrigtsen, president of the OneSubsea Processing Systems division. “Our experience in delivering more than 25 of these systems will enable us to support Total in increasing the production and extending the life of the Moho-Bilondo field.”
