Petronas, Qinterra sign multi-million dollar deal

Petronas Carigali Snd Bhd awarded Qinterra Technologies a contract worth approximately US$20miliion to support operations in Malaysia.

The three-year agreement entails that Qinterra Technologies provide tractor services for all of Petronas offshore assets in Malaysia

The scope for work covers more than 50 wells that will see the introduction of next generation tractor applications, including debris collector and rotational equipment.

Qinterra says their technology is low impact, efficient and focused on enhancing production and achieving better results.

Qinterra has had a presence in Malaysia since 2008 and is one of the brands formed from the restructure of Aker Solutions and EQT VI in January 2014.
