Goltens opens new Houston facility

Goltens Worldwide opened its new full service facility in Houston, Texas following months of planning, machinery, and equipment installation.

The new location is focused on delivering core specialized diesel engine, in-situ machining and green technologies services portfolio. The facility has a broad range of large-scale workshop machining equipment to support reconditioning and overhaul operations, and a growing team of highly skilled diesel engine service engineers and specialists.

Mark Evans will lead operations as general manager for Goltens Houston. Evans is a seasoned maritime executive with more than 20 years of experience supporting the marine services industry, working in progressively higher technical management and executive positions within Wärtsilä and most recently Rolls-Royce Marine.

Goltens says it has invested heavily and will continue to scale up operations to make this one of the flagship operations in Goltens’ global portfolio of companies. The new facility is located within two miles from the Port of Houston.
