BOEM sets Atlantic G&G meetings

Published

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) will host a series of open houses to share information on the geological and geophysical (G&G) permitting process on the Atlantic Coast. The purpose of the meetings is to provide an overview of the G&G process and allow the public an opportunity to ask questions and comment.

These meetings will feature information stations hosted by BOEM experts who will be available to discuss G&G issues with the public. In addition to information stations, attendees will be able to provide handwritten or electronic comments on-site.

Each application will be available for public review and comment on the regulations.gov website beginning 30 March 2015. All deep penetration seismic applications will be open for a period of 30 calendar days and all others will be open for 10 days.
