Semisub heads for Levitt-1

Diamond Offshore’s Ocean America semisubmersible is mobilizing to drill the first well for Karoon Gas Australia in the northern Carnarvon basin exploration permit WA-482-P offshore Western Australia. The Levitt-1 exploration well is expected to be spud during the first week of July 2015.

Karoon has a material 50% equity interest in the Levitt-1 exploration well and is carried for 90% of the cost of the well, which is looking for a net unrisked prospective resource of 110 MMbbl.
