Subsea services and technology company Cortez Subsea has been awarded £1.5million of contracts across its pipeline installation and decommissioning services during Q3, 2013.

The Aberdeen-based firm has completed the first phase of work on a North Sea floating production, storage, and offloading vessel reinforcement program for contractor DOF Subsea.

The £1million contract, for the provision of a powered reel drive system, tensioner and personnel for umbilical and flexible riser installation, includes a second phase, due to begin later this year.

Cortez Subsea has secured a further contract for the recovery and decommissioning of three flexible production flowlines for Stork Technical Services.

The work, from the vessel Siem Stork for operations in the central North Sea, is scheduled to complete in September 2013.
