Allseas, via Excalibur Marine Contractors, has been awarded a long term frame agreement for transport, installation and removal (T,I&R) services for Aker BP, for removal of the Valhall QP topsides and QP/DP bridge in 2019 and disposal thereafter.

The deal is for six years, with options to extend the contract twice for two years each.

In addition, options have been agreed for removal and disposal of the QP and 2/4G jackets in the future.

Last month Heerema was awarded a long term T&I frame agreement and call off for Valhall Flank West (VFW) installation. The frame agreement will now be amended to include removal services and become a T,I&R frame agreement.
