ExxonMobil launches Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis

Published

ExxonMobil has released Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis, a new mobile-enabled used oil analysis service, in the US and Canada. The service streamlines the used oil analysis process, from initial sample gathering to final reporting.

Specifically, companies use QR coded scan-and-go bottles to deliver used oil samples to ExxonMobil’s oil analysis laboratory. Once these samples are analyzed, customers can access the results and customized equipment recommendations on their mobile or tablet device.

Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis offers application-specific analysis options – including hydraulic, gearbox, engine, compressor, powertrain and circulating analysis, among others – for a wide range of industries, enabling companies to choose the option that fits their specific needs.

“Comprehensive used oil analysis programs provide companies with the data they need to understand equipment performance and how that impacts their operation’s productivity," said Geoffrey Polanek, global initiatives advisor at ExxonMobil Fuels, Lubricants & Specialties Marketing Co.

Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis, which replaces ExxonMobil’s Signum Oil Analysis, will be rolled out globally in other markets later this year.

This new service is part of the Mobil Serv family, ExxonMobil’s lubricants services brand. Under its Mobil Serv brand, ExxonMobil offers an extensive range of technical services that can help customers optimize their maintenance programs, enhance equipment performance and ensure safety.
