Oceaneering wins OCTP contract

ENI Ghana Exploration and Production awarded the Oceaneering International and GE Oil & Gas-led consortium a contract to supply equipment for the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) block project development located off the coast of West Africa.

The OCTP block is located in offshore Ghana at a water depth of 500-1100 meters, 60km from the coast.

Oceaneering’s scope of work under this contract is to supply electro-hydraulic, steel tube umbilicals totaling approximately 51km in length. This contract adds over US$100 million to its subsea products backlog.

Product manufacturing is planned to be performed at Oceaneering’s umbilical facility in Panama City, Florida and is expected to commence in 2Q 2015 and be completed in the 4Q 2017.

Other partners in the consortium are Vitol and GNPC.
