Published

Saudi Aramco has begun producing natural gas at its Hasbah field, offshore Saudi Arabia.

Hasah is located 150km northeast of Jubail in the Arabian Gulf. It has seven single-well platforms, and is expected to provide up to 1.3 Bcf/d of natural gas.

"The development of the Hasbah and Arabiyah fields to feed nonassociated gas the Wasit Gas Plant has been a significant addition to our company’s overall gas program. The fields are located approximately 150 kilometers northeast of Jubail Industrial City in the Arabian Gulf," Saudi Aramco said in its weekly magazine, The Arabian Sun.
