PBJV inks PGLNG 1 work

Barakah Offshore Petroleum Berhad’s subsidiary, PBJV Group Sdn Bhd. won a US$4.6 million subcontract agreement for the Petronas Floating LNG 1 (PFLNG 1).

The work is for the provision of offshore engineering, procurement, installation and related activities, plus the post-installation activities and onboard hook-up, commissioning and start-up activities of PFLNG 1. The contract’s duration is from December 2015-October 2016.

PFLNG 1, which will be located offshore Sarawak, will gather gas production from several gas fields offshore Malaysia and liquefy the gas into LNG. It is capable of producing 1.2 MTPA.
