Hejre topside time-lapse

DONG Energy provides this time-lapse video of the Herje topsides construction process, which took place from April to October 2014.

Hejre is Dong Energy’s first high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) development and is expected to begin production in 2017 with an estimated 170 MMboe. It will represent the largest oil and gas project in the Danish sector of the North Sea.

The US$1.8 billion development includes the installation of new offshore facilities, comprising a combined accommodation, wellhead and processing platform, with production from five new wells.

The Hejre development will be connected to the existing infrastructure in the North Sea through separate pipelines for oil and gas, providing secure and reliable product logistics from the area.

Total production from the reservoir is expected to be about 15 MMsq m of oil and about 10 billion sq m of gas during the term of the project. The production start-up is scheduled for 2017.

Operated by DONG Energy, the Hejre field is owned by a consortium consisting of DONG Energy (60%) and Bayerngas Denmark (40%).
