Veripos is delighted to announce that on 23 April, the company concluded an agreement with developers after receiving planning consent for a new global headquarters and regional support base in Aberdeen. The building will be owned by Veripos.

The purpose-built facility is in Dyce close to Aberdeen airport and building work will start within a few weeks at a cost of approximately $4.8 million which includes the fit-out of specialist workshops, dedicated customer training facilities and a state-of-the art network control centre from where Veripos operate its precise satellite positioning services.

The building is expected to be completed and the move completed in late Q4 2013.

Commenting on the news, CEO Walter Steedman said: "The commitment to this new state-of-the-art facility is another stage in the continuing success story of Veripos. As well as meeting our requirements for continued growth, moving to the new base consolidates our independence following spin-off and listing on the Oslo stock exchange in July 2012.

It also demonstrates our confidence in the future of our business with further growth expected through both organic development and diversification strategies."

As one of the early innovators in the field of precise positioning, VERIPOS aims to be the market leader in precise navigation and positioning solutions, through the innovative application of technology, continuous product development and operational excellence.
