SeaBird announces Caribbean contract for newest sesimic vessel

SeaBird Exploration Plc announced today that M/V Geo Pacific was awarded a new contract in the Caribbean. The work is estimated to require 63 days and the contract value is about US$12 million. M/V Geo Pacific is the latest vessel added to Seadrill's fleet, in January 2013. The ship  has just completed her current contract and will mobilize directly to the new job.

Headquartered in Cypress, with offices in Dubai, Houston, Oslo, and Singapore, SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, and associated products and services to the oil and gas industry. The company's main focus is proprietary seismic surveys (contract seismic).
