LR Senergy IP software update

LR Senergy has updated its formation evaluation and well data interpretation tool, IP v4.3, featuring enhancements to key workflows plus advanced and new technologies that make IP v4.3 a well data interpretation package for multi-user, multi-well and multi-discipline.

The multi-user functionality offers data connectivity through multi-user access, promoting collaboration and fast decision making. Updated IP workflows have multi-well capability including a major upgrade to the Mineral Solver module, allowing users to work on mineral solver analysis across multiple wells simultaneously.

The latest version of the software complements established workflows already in place for geologists, engineers and petrophysicists by providing new multi-discipline tools and workflows for geomechanics and geosteering specialists.

Other major enhancements include:

• A comprehensive acoustic waveform processing module that allows users to semblance process raw waveforms.

• A wellbore stability module ensures safe drilling mud weight predication to avoid wellbore instability and failure.

• A hydraulic flow units module which categorizes reservoir rock based on flow potential.

• Domain transfer analysis which utilizes a new non-linear differential equation solver for predicting log curves.

Along with these new modules, 3D self-organising maps for rock typing can also be utilized.
